Macdougald Skate Park

The skateboard park was built in 2000 through the persistent efforts of many valley residents and teenagers working together with government representatives. It was not an easy process. Today though it is a well used site for the popular activity.

Please follow the rules that are posted on the fence when using this park.

Another remarkable volunteer effort by the community achieved this true dream for sports lovers. As the valley grew in population, the need for additional playing fields became evident and major fundraising began.
