Wine Shipping Laws!
Laws regarding wine shipping differ from state to state and are constantly changing. It is illegal to ship wine into some states such as Tennessee where it is actually a felony. If a winery has a distributor in certain states then they can ship into those states to that distributor. Due to a U.S. Supreme Court decision, many more states do however allow direct shipping of wine today. Some have limits on how much can be shipped over a period of time, such as two cases (24 bottles) each year. If you are thinking of purchasing wine to ship, it is always best to ask the winery staff what states they currently ship to. Please note it is illegal to ship wine via the United States Postal Service.

Wine Tasting

Sonoma Valley wineries are located throughout the valley and most are open for visitors year round offering wine tasting daily. Wine tasting room staff are friendly and knowledgeable so feel free to ask questions about the wines. Keep in mind there is usually a small fee to taste selections of your choice.
